AJS Trials Park

End of Year Wrap

The AJS Moto Trials committee and members welcome Mark Austin as the new Trials Secretary for 2012.

Even though most positions are filled the committee still rely on your help and input to ensure that we can continue to compete and be involved with this great sport.

During the year you will be called upon to attend an occasional working bee, as the park is going to be utilised more during the winter months than in previous years.

We will also schedule some rider training days early in the new year conducted by Grant Morris with assistance by myself to ensure that you reach the standard that you would like to try and achieve.

By the way please feel free to email me via  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it if you have any ideas to promote the club to the public or changes you want to see to the park.

In the meantime I hope everyone has a Merry Xmas and a safe and Happy New Year, and will look forward to seeing your new bikes in 2012.

Regards,

Barry Barton

Vice President (Trials)

Laia Sanz in Australia July 2011

The breaking news is that Megan Clarke and Lucinda Clarke have been invited to attend a coaching school in Sydney, which is to be run by the reigning Womens Trial World Champion, Laia Sanz.
Laia Sanz is a 10 time World Champion and has also competed and completed the gruelling Dakar Rally earlier this year.
She is also a full time rider for the Montesa/Honda Corporation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for "The Girls" to learn from the best ever female trials rider.
The school will be held at Pacific Park on the 15th, 16th and 17th July 2011.
As you can imagine this is going to be a expensive exercise, but well worth it for the Clarke Family.
Ritch and Pauline will also be accompanying Megan and Lucinda to Sydney, to assist where they can.

Please send your encouragement to the Clarkes and if you can help out in any way, please contact them at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
